Role Overview The post‑holder will work with other Band 6 and 7 MRI specialist radiographers, MRI trained rotational radiographers, and radiographic assistants to deliver a 7‑day service in the MRI department at the Royal Free. They will develop specialised knowledge and expertise and produce high quality images to assist in diagnosis and treatment, while demonstrating high standards of care. Responsibilities You will collaborate with senior radiographers and radiographic assistants to provide daily MRI services, develop specialised knowledge, and produce high quality imaging for diagnosis and treatment. You will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. You will also participate in pre‑employment identity verification, DBS checks, and electronic onboarding processes as required. Qualifications and Experience Eligible to work in the United Kingdom, or meet the criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a team- and patient-centred approach. Experience working as a Band 6 MRI radiographer is desirable, but full training in MRI will be provided depending on prior experience. Ability to follow safety and quality standards within a clinical environment. Training and Development The department encourages continued professional development (CPD) and offers opportunities for further training and development in areas such as postgraduate study, radiographer reporting, and advanced practice.
