The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing relationships with the company's most important clients. This role drives revenue growth, client retention, and overall satisfaction by delivering tailored solutions, building strong partnerships, and aligning internal resources to client needs. Work with product, marketing, operations, and finance teams to deliver seamless client experiences and being an advocate for client needs internally to enhance service delivery and product development. KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Management Develop and maintain key account relationships. Serve as the main point of contact for top clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. Negotiate contracts, renewals, and upsell opportunities to maximize revenue. Mentor a member of the support team To lead the Keys Accounts team forward and drive the strategies in place to develop long term relationships with the key and house accounts. To submit a monthly focused short report to the Head of Key Accounts highlighting all Key account activity completed and forthcoming. Foster a client-focused culture across the business. 2. Key Account Sales Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and new business streams. Work closely with the marketing and product teams to develop client-specific offerings. To generate personal sales revenue from existing accounts. To be responsible for managing the internal project and to deliver the project on time & within budget whilst following internal processes & our five customer commitments. Evaluate incoming project opportunities and coordinating the formal response documentation including any decisions around the project teams required to deliver the project. To follow the agreed procurement strategy. Ensure clients gets best price and to ensure all pricing received is checked and negotiated 3. Project Delivery To be fully familiar with the key terms of the contract and to ensure that these are adhered to throughout the duration of the project. To attend weekly internal project meetings with the internal project team, ensuring that projects are on time, dealing with any escalations if any. To be responsible for managing the client and project team relationships throughout the project if in Project Sponsor role. Ensure full authority is given by the client at each key stage e.g. sign off of specifications. Managing the allocated resource to deliver the projects and where applicable the 4-stage process. Act as an escalation point for client issues and drive resolution. 4. Reporting & Forecasting Monitor account performance against targets. Ensure the project comes in below budget after all fees have been accounted for. Deliver accurate forecasting and reporting to Head of Key Accounts. To be responsible (where relevant) for ensuring that the clients procurement process is adhered to and is auditable. Analyse client trends, feedback, and market intelligence to influence internal strategy. 5. Ad Hoc Maintain safe working practices whilst undertaking your duties at all times To act in accordance with the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and practices highlighting any issues appropriately Work flexibly and be receptive and adaptable to a changing environment within a fast-expanding Company Undertake any other reasonable tasks as directed by management THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: 1. Detailed understanding of the Interiors and Office Furniture sector 2. Organised – Able to manage multiple moving parts, timelines, and stakeholders 3. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills 4. Strategic thinker with hands‑on execution ability 5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills 6. Ability to lead, inspire, and develop high‑performing teams 7.
