The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, commercially aware, and will actively engage in business development activities, expanding our practice into new areas. Key Responsibilities Maintain high levels of service to existing clients Develop the corporate department in line with the marketing policy Produce fee income in line with targets and agreed objectives Maintain and enhance legal skills Financial control, especially cash flow Perform fee‑earning work accurately, reliably and in accordance with the firm’s quality and risk procedures Key Skill Areas Mergers, acquisitions and buyouts Corporate restructures and setups Corporate governance, shareholders’ agreements, options and members’ agreements Franchise acquisition, sale and development Distribution agreements Intellectual property Shareholder, director and investor rights Corporate finance Data protection Qualifications & Experience Qualified solicitor Previous experience managing a busy corporate caseload Experienced in all mainstream corporate matters Good computer literacy, including case‑management systems Clear understanding of AML regulations and Solicitors’ Account Rules Competencies Confidence in managing own caseload Strong planning and organisational skills Excellent communication skills Ability to create and nurture client relationships at all levels Marketing and business development skills Presentation and public‑speaking skills Proactive and positive attitude Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines High level of integrity Working Hours & Location Hours: 09:00 – 17:15 Monday to Friday (36.25 hours per week). Location: Flexible. Salary Salary depends on experience.
