Job SummaryA vacancy has arisen in the Neonatal Unit, Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy for a Band 5 Staff Nurse (Registered Child Branch). The unit comprises 4 ITU, 2 High Dependency and 11 Special Care cots. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver a high standard of care using a holistic, family‑centred approach and will have the opportunity to undertake Foundations in Neonatal Care modules. ResponsibilitiesDeliver a high standard of care and use a holistic, family‑centred approach.Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of evidence‑based practice and commit to clinically effective care within neonates.Work independently and collaboratively within the team and take initiative when required. QualificationsRecognised clinical qualification and evidence of ongoing professional development.Valid NMC pin. NMC registration is required.Registration with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme prior to appointment.Part‑time post – salary pro‑rata.
