A day in the life of a Senior Debt Recovery Specialist at Yü involves managing a portfolio of customer accounts with high balance complex energy disputes to ensure timely payment of debts, contacting customers to arrange repayments, resolving metering, billing, and liability queries. In depth account reviews need to take place to ensure there is debt reduction on ledgers and completing checklists to potentially initiate disconnection or legal action for unpaid debts. Collaboration with other departments is key as well as a willingness to be upskilled to ensure debt targets are met. Your day will involve calling and emailing customers chasing for debt and resolving any disputes highlighted.
