Job Description Process and manage supplier invoices in a timely manner. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies. Assist with payment runs and ensure accurate processing of payments. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions. Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable. Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding payment queries. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all accounting activities. Assist with any ad hoc finance tasks as required by the accounting and finance team. The Successful Applicant The successful Interim Accounts Payable Clerk should have: Previous experience in an accounts payable role within the retail industry. Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers and team members. What's on Offer Competitive hourly rate between £13.00 and £15.00 per hour.
