Our client is looking for an experienced Resilience Support Coordinator
The Resilience Support Coordinator plays a vital supporting role in ensuring Camden is prepared for, can respond to, and recover from emergencies that may impact our community. Working within the framework of the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, the support coordinator will assist the Resilience team by providing administrative and logistical support to maintain robust emergency plans and arrangements, help coordinate business continuity activities, and facilitate communication with internal and external partners.
By managing documentation, scheduling the on-call rota, maintaining records, conducting routine checks, and supporting engagement with stakeholders, the role strengthens Camden’s ability to manage risks and maintain essential services during disruptions.
This position does not include participation in the 24/7 on-call rota but is critical in ensuring the team is well-prepared and organised for any incident. Ultimately, this role contributes to a safer, more resilient Camden by ensuring the Resilience team operates efficiently and effectively.

Key responsibilities:
On-Call Rota Management
• Schedule and maintain the 24/7 on-call rota for the Emergency Response Team
• Manage the on-call rota software system, ensuring accuracy and timely updates. Administrative & Document Control
• Maintain organised file storage systems for emergency plans, business continuity documents, and compliance records.
• Ensure version control and proper documentation for all resilience-related plans and arrangements.
• Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, take minutes, and track action points. Logistics & Coordination
• Organise room bookings, training sessions, and exercise logistics.
• Coordinate work allocation within the team and monitor progress.
• Act as the first point of contact for routine queries and manage email coordination. Systems & Software
• Administer Resilience Direct and other relevant platforms.
• Use software packages to support reporting, rota management, and record-keeping. Equipment & Supplies
• Conduct routine checks, including stock checks and equipment tests.
• Order and maintain emergency equipment and supplies as required. Training & Engagement Support
• Organise training sessions, including scheduling, invitations, and preparation of materials.
• Maintain attendance records and feedback logs. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
• Support the collection and logging of lessons learned from incidents and exercises.
• Assist in preparing summary reports and statutory returns.
General Administrative Duties
• Maintain accurate logs and records for resilience activities.
• Provide logistical support for meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure smooth coordination of tasks to keep the Resilience team well-prepared and organised. Experience
• Providing administrative and coordination support in a complex organisation.
• Managing schedules, systems, and documentation accurately.
• Building effective relationships with colleagues and partners.
• Organising meetings, training, and events, including logistics and record-keeping.
• Using computer-based systems for coordination and reporting
• Producing clear records and reports for varied audiences.
• Handling multiple priorities under pressure.
• Familiarity with resilience or emergency planning (desirable).
