As part of the Commercial Claims unit, you'll be working in a unit that is responsible for managing all claims relating to Commercial Property, Casualty, Motor Trade and Commercial Motor. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. Responsibilities Lead your team of Claims Handlers, managing a portfolio of claims with speed and high quality. Drive ongoing capability and development through natural leadership and role‑modeling to achieve excellent results. Oversee projects, correct procedures, process and regularity adherence, identifying opportunities for improvement and leveraging data‑driven decisions. Build strong relationships with colleagues across claims and with external agencies; manage stakeholder relationships to support unit success. Qualifications Understanding of Insurance Claims is preferred, especially within casualty, commercial property, motor or engineering. Leadership experience of a team is essential; spans of control sit between 12‑15 employees. Expertise in role‑modeling productive behaviours and coaching approaches. Ability to adapt to change, demonstrate courage and resilience in a dynamic environment. Developed conflict management skills. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data‑analysis skills.
