About the Role We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Faith's Walk Healthcare Services Limited. In this role, you will provide personalized support to clients in their homes, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care while promoting their dignity and independence. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming. Support with mobility and transfers, including use of hoists and other aids if necessary. Help clients with daily living activities, such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and managing household tasks. Administer or assist with medication following care plans and medication policies. Promote independence and encourage participation in community activities, hobbies, and social events. Provide emotional support and companionship, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation. Monitor and report changes in clients' health, mood, or behavior to senior staff. Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and documentation. Follow health and safety, safeguarding, and confidentiality policies at all times. Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and other agencies. Qualifications Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in home care or a similar environment is preferred. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Compassionate and respectful approach towards clients. IT skills for documentation purposes are beneficial but not essential. A valid driving license is required for this role.
