We embrace unique perspectives and empower each person to grow through professional development, career training and mentoring programs.Our people are our most important asset, and we are very proud of the quality of our team members.Job DutiesModel D & F accounts for the Allied World London Branch and Lloyd’s syndicate.Assess data quality, interpret modelling results and provide guidance to Underwriters as requiredMonitor and report on accumulations; assist in corporate and syndicate reportingAssist in projects to improve the catastrophe modelling workflow, automate processes and increase operational efficienciesConduct model evaluations and sensitivity testing for specific regions / perilsHelp manage the vendor relationship for outsourced data cleansing servicesQualificationsJob Requirements:Strong technical training in mathematics, computer science, engineering, physical science or related fieldFive to ten years’ catastrophe modelling experience, with a focus on D&F modelling preferredIn-depth knowledge of AIR TouchstoneProficient in the use of MS Excel; experience SQL or other Programming languages preferredDetail-orientated with advanced analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication skills, both oral and written.Working at Allied WorldOur team of over 1,600 professionals has deep expertise in the industry.
