Responsibilities : Lead analyst for property across multiple sub classes of business, including Arch's UK and Australia primary business as well as traditional D&F. Responsibility for managing all aspects of the property portfolio for exposure management and catastrophe analytics purposes. Analysis of monthly variances and ensuring good dataernance within Arch portfolios. Preparing data for outwards reinsurance purchasing for multiple Arch entities. Assist with internal and external reporting Support during Event Response. Ad hoc requests from the Catastrophe Managers and Head of Department Role Requirements & Skills : Good working knowledge of at least 1 catastrophe model, preferably Verisk/AIR. Strong understanding of Insurance gained in a relevant industry role. Practical knowledge of property insurance policies. Ability tomunicateplex catastrophe modelling concepts to a non-technical audience. Proven organisational and workload management skills. Strong Problem-Solving skills and keen attention to detail. Excellent IT skills, including programming skills (eg. Excel, VBA and SQL) Analytical/technical mindset with an understanding of Catastrophe Models and financial model output. Degree qualified, or 3 years' experience in Insurance. 3+ years Insurance. Experience working in a similar role, in a Lloyd's syndicate or similar.
