We embrace unique perspectives and empower each person to grow through professional development, career training and mentoring programs.Our people are our most important asset, and we are very proud of the quality of our team members.Job Duties:Model D & F accounts for the Allied World London Branch and Lloyd’s syndicate.Assess data quality, interpret modeling results and provide guidance to Underwriters as requiredMonitor and report on accumulations; assist in corporate and syndicate reportingAssist in projects to improve the catastrophe modeling workflow, automate processes and increase operational efficienciesConduct model evaluations and sensitivity testing for specific regions / perilsHelp manage the vendor relationship for outsourced data cleansing servicesQualificationsJob Requirements:Strong technical training in mathematics, computer science, engineering, physical science or related fieldThree to five years’ catastrophe modeling experience, with a focus on D&F modeling preferredIn-depth knowledge of RML RiskLink, AIR CLASIC/2 and CATRADER essentialProficient in the use of MS Excel; experience with MS Access, SQL or other Programming languages preferredDetail-orientated with advanced analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication skills, both oral and written. #J-18808-Ljbffr
