Our client, a respected nursery in Bracknell, Berkshire, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full‑time Block Bookings – Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join their nurturing team. As a vital member of our client’s staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and well‑being of the children under your care. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £15.00 per hour. The ideal candidate will possess a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or an equivalent credential, along with prior experience working in a nursery setting. You should have a genuine passion for working with children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities and a supportive environment. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and implementation of age‑appropriate educational activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. You will work closely with the nursery team to create a stimulating learning environment that encourages children’s curiosity, imagination, and social skills. Key responsibilities Supporting the lead practitioner in delivering high‑quality care and education to the children Observing and assessing children’s development, maintaining accurate records, and sharing insights with parents and colleagues Ensuring the safety and well‑being of the children by adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures Building positive relationships with children, their families, and fellow staff members Assisting with daily routines such as mealtimes, nappy changes, and rest periods Maintaining a clean, organised, and inviting learning environment To excel in this position, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage with children and their families. You should be patient, empathetic, and able to adapt to the unique needs of each child under your care.
