Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated General Supervisor to join our team at HMP Eastwood Park, a closed female prison. The role is part of the Facilities Management team that maintains the daily operations of the prison. You will work with a diverse group of professionals, including plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, cleaners and administrators, to provide a safe and secure environment for prisoners, staff and visitors. Responsibilities As a General Supervisor you will: Supervise and coordinate the work of the Facilities Management staff. Ensure compliance with health and safety, legal and operational standards. Plan, manage and deliver maintenance and repair projects. Monitor and report on key performance indicators. Support staff development and foster a culture of safety and inclusiveness. Qualifications Previous recognised experience and supervisory skills in facilities management. Experience of compliance and risk management. Good knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements. Professional qualifications in facilities management or project management. Excellent organisational, time‑management and people‑management skills.
