Job Role: General Supervisor

Location: HMP Eastwood Park, Falfield. GL12 8DB

Salary: £36,066.96 per annum

Contract: Permanent - 39hrs per week - Mon-Fri

Holidays are 25 days per year plus Bank Holidays, and a range of non-contractual benefits are provided. We are seeking a dedicated General Supervisor to join our team at HMP Eastwood Park, a Closed Female prison.

HMP Eastwood Park runs like a self-contained CITY /TOWN, it takes hundreds of people to keep it functioning, and as the Facilities Maintenance Team we are committed and driving the smooth and safe operation, like a heart that pumps blood through the body, everything we do impacts every prisoner, employee, and visitor, and wider to the families and community.

We Are a Ministry Of Justice Business And Provide Critical And Time-bound Services To HMPPS, And Are Looking For a General Supervisor With a Combination Of

• Previous recognised experience and supervisory skills in the facilities management service
• Experience of compliance
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements
• Relevant professional qualifications (facilities management / project management
• Good Health & Safety knowledge.
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.

Future Plans.
GFSL has been notified by it's shareholder (MOJ) that the provision of FM Services will in future be delivered by the private sector. This means that following a successful procurement process, GFSL's services will complete transfer to a private sector provider/providers no sooner than August 2027.
