As we continue growing at a fast pace, will you “Dare to Grow” with us?YOUR ROLEOur Air and Ocean team have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and customer‑centric UK Key Account Manager with a focus on the Retail & Consumer sector.This integral role will see you leading, creating and developing critical relationships with key retail clients where you will coordinate with internal teams to enable seamless and long‑term logistics solutions.WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?Reporting into the Head of Key Account Management, you will act as the main escalation point for retail clients, understanding their specific supply chain needs where you will develop tailor‑made strategies, mitigating risks, and enabling operational success with key focuses on:Retain and develop existing business within the retail & consumer sector.Collaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts, and product leaders.Manage supply chain for consumer goods, from manufacturer to end consumer.Regularly review client performance in monthly and quarterly meetings.Keep up to date with external market and industry trends.Oversee customer renewals with key internal stakeholders.Lead customer engagement workshops focusing on improvements and supply chain mapping.Create reports on account status, progress and performance.Develop and implement account growth focusing on upselling and cross‑selling.Identify new business opportunities in collaboration with vertical heads.Support the Head of Key Account Management with any additional tasks.This amazing role will see you managing critical retail and consumer accounts across our UK and Ireland network, we are ideally looking for someone to be based at our London Heathrow operation, however we welcome applications from across the UK, as individuals must be flexible and comfortable with travel.WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?To be successful in your application you have significant experience in Account Management or Contract Management ideally within a freight forwarding or international transportation environment. You will be practiced in customer management, capable of building exceptional working relationships both internally and externally. You will have a proven track record of organic and new customer growth, experienced in contract development, performance delivery, commercial account management and financial understanding.It goes without saying that you will be a natural communicator, influencer and negotiator, with exceptional people and problem‑solving skills, practiced developing and delivering operational and client account success.While not essential, it would be desirable if you have proven experience of managing retail and consumer or freight forwarding accounts, in particular with knowledge of air or ocean freight imports and exports.WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?With a genuine culture of reward and recognition, we want our employees to grow, develop and be part of our journey.
