Key Account Sales Manager – Laboratory Products, South West UKSalary/Rate: £50,000-£55,000 plus bonus and car Do you have a proven track-record in life science sales? Do you have sales experience working in an account management and new business development remit? Our client is a leading provider of laboratory equipment and consumables who sell their products into a wide range of customers across the Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical and Industrial markets. Priding themselves on a top‑class customer service and high quality industry‑leading products, they are now looking for a Key Account Manager to join the team and look after customers in the UK. Responsibilities Looking after existing customers, growing the accounts and nurturing business for the company Seeking out new business opportunities Meeting with customers across the UK to explore new ventures and ensure service levels are upheld Accurate record keeping and data logging using company CRM Provide business proposals, quotations, and pricing for products, as required. Reporting sales figures to senior leadership team Keep up to date with industry and product knowledge Qualifications Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific subject, ideally biology, microbiology, cellular biology, biomedical science or chemistry Hold a Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South West of the UK Have 4+ years sales experience within the scientific industry, ideally selling laboratory equipment and consumables Have experience of developing and completing sales strategies Have the ability to communicate effectively Possess technical knowledge of laboratory products, equipment and consumables Be able to present to a variety of audiences and influence decision makers Be motivated, hardworking and ambitious Be highly organised and able to manage workload. Ideally have a background in chemistry or a related scientific area Have experience working with a CRM You will be rewarded with a friendly, inclusive working environment, competitive salary and company benefits such as bonus and company car as well as strong progression opportunities.
