Soft Services Manager Join to apply for the Soft Services Manager role at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services. We are looking for an experienced Soft Services Manager to manage the operations of site-based cleaning and security operatives. Responsibilities include staff inductions and training, liaising with recruitment agencies, completing on‑boarding paperwork, ensuring service delivery on site, continuous improvements, risk assessments, health & safety compliance, and monitoring the use of chemicals and materials. Responsibilities Manage staff inductions and training. Liaise with recruitment agencies and complete onboarding paperwork. Deliver service on site and implement continuous improvements. Complete tasks, risk assessments and ensure compliance for all operatives. Apply Mitie’s Health & Safety procedures and encourage safe working practices. Monitor the use of chemicals and materials in Touch Point Cleaning (TPC) roles. Qualifications Previous operations role essential. Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse stakeholders. Solutions oriented with ability to provide explanations and proposed solutions. Proficient management skills and use of IT systems (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Organised, multi‑tasking, prioritise and manage competing demands. Strong respect for confidentiality. Benefits £51k current salary with 5% annual increase. 28 days annual leave plus paid sick days. Inclusive of rotational weekend working (at least one per month) and flexible on‑call.
