We are seeking a highly skilled Audiovisual (AV) Engineer to join our growing team. This role involves working on the installation, programming, and troubleshooting of cutting-edge AV systems, with a primary focus on high-end residential installations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industry-leading control systems such as Control4, Crestron, Savant, Lutron, or similar technologies. The AV Engineer will collaborate with other team members to deliver seamless and efficient AV integration for our luxury residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

AV System Design & Implementation: Collaborate with clients, designers, and other engineers to design, install, and implement advanced audiovisual systems for residential properties.

*

Programming & Configuration: Program and configure systems using platforms such as Control4, Crestron, Savant, and Lutron, ensuring smooth integration across audio, video, lighting, and automation systems.

*

System Troubleshooting: Provide in-field troubleshooting, diagnostics, and problem-solving for AV and control systems.

*

Client Support & Training: Provide training and technical support to clients, ensuring they understand how to operate their AV systems efficiently.

*

Project Management: Manage and execute installations on time and within budget, from system design to final handover.

*

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, electricians, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of AV systems within the overall project scope.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

*

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with AV systems and home automation (Control4, Crestron, Savant, Lutron, etc.) in residential environments.

*

Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with AV equipment including audio/video distribution, home automation systems, smart home integration, and lighting control systems.

*

Programming Proficiency: Experience with programming and troubleshooting Control4, Crestron, and Savant systems.

*

Installation Skills: Ability to perform hardware installations for AV equipment, including but not limited to speakers, receivers, televisions, and control interfaces.

*

Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues on-site.

*

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and contractors.

*

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

*

Experience with networking and IP-based AV solutions.

*

Proficiency in home automation system programming (especially for Control4, Crestron, Savant, or Lutron).

*

Knowledge of lighting control and shading systems (e.g., Lutron).

*

Familiarity with home theater and media room design.

*

Certifications from Control4, Crestron, or Savant are a plus
