Strategic Director for Defence and Security This space sector client seeks a strategic Director for Defence and Security to drive its engagement with the UK defence sector. You'll be making a difference. The client fosters collaboration across government, industry, and academia. As Director for Defence and Security, you'll shape and deliver their defence and security strategy, build relationships across the space sector, help the space sector supply to defence customers, lead a small team, across matrixed functions to deliver outcomes, and support space companies to accelerate supply to defence. Responsibilities Refine and execute their defence & security strategy. Drive partnerships and build a pipeline of opportunities. Lead a small team and matrix teams to deliver projects. Ensure delivery of defence and security-related activities. Lead high-level customer engagement. Drive development of space sector capabilities to meet defence. Manage budgets and ensure sustainable growth. Monitor progress against milestones and KPIs. Qualifications Knowledge of the space, UK defence. Proven experience in developing an organisation to meet the specific needs of the defence sector.
