OverviewHR Advisor role at Frontier Developments. Frontier is an independent video game developer and publisher based in Cambridge, UK. The role can be in-studio or hybrid (minimum 3 days in the studio) with relocation support available.What’s the roleWe’re looking for a driven and solutions-oriented HR Advisor to join our People Team. This role delivers our People Strategy, provides high-quality generalist HR support across the company, and helps shape Frontier’s future through HR initiatives.What you’ll be doingProvide day-to-day employee relations support and coaching to people managers.Manage HR casework including performance, absence, grievance, and disciplinary matters.Track and analyse HR metrics, offering insights and recommendations.Support the delivery of strategic People Team programmes across the employee lifecycle (e.g., succession planning, reward, L&D, change management).Collaborate with HR Business Partners to evolve people processes and drive continuous improvement.Act as a point of escalation for HR Assistants and provide expert HR guidance.Ensure HR policies are compliant with employment law, write and develop policies when required, and support managers with policy advice and guidance.Maintain accurate employee data in our HRIS.Deliver briefings and communications on HR topics and initiatives to the HR and wider People Team.What you’ll bringDemonstrable experience in an operational HR role, ideally within a fast-paced technology or creative industry.Excellent understanding of UK employment law and experience handling sensitive ER issues.Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and act accordingly.Proactive and solutions-focused with a continuous improvement approach and confidence to implement processes.Bonus if you haveCIPD Level 5 qualification or currently working towards it.What we can offer youYou will work with talented and passionate people to support, develop or publish our sophisticated and enduring games, in a creative, collaborative and inclusive environment.
