We’re looking for a Collections Team Leader Senior to join our Enterprise team and help us unleash the potential of every business. About the Team Our Collections teams provide support to our Global Business customers, managing accounts with a strong focus on cash collection and aged debt clearance. You’ll be part of a high‑performing, fast‑paced team that strives to exceed cash and quality targets while operating in line with FCA, DPA and Banking Code Regulations. Our teams work Monday‑Friday from 9am to 5pm. We offer a hybrid working model split between the Manchester city centre office and home working, with optional overtime opportunities available. Responsibilities You will manage a team of 7‑10 high‑performing agents in a fast‑paced environment, responsible for managing performance against KPIs. You’ll handle planning and distribution of work to a team of Collections Advisors, ensuring a strong focus on cash collection and excellent customer service. You will work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships, resolve customer queries and protect the company from loss by reducing bad debt provision. The role requires working across multiple platforms and lines of business to provide first‑time resolution to a portfolio of corporate customers. Communication and internal‑external business relationship building are key. Qualifications Team leader or supervisory experience Ability to develop, lead, and motivate a team Creating a culture of continuous improvement B2B collections experience Excellent customer service skills with experience in negotiation and influence Exposure to a results‑driven environment Good Excel skills Understanding of Direct Debits Sound knowledge of bad debt reduction Bonus Qualifications Experience working with corporate customers Understanding of BACS rules Benefits and Culture What makes a Worldpayer?
