We are looking for an experienced PA to join the children's senior leadership team supporting us to lead and deliver a range of children's physical health and mental health services. The role is busy, varied and interesting and offers a unique opportunity to make a genuine and positive difference in the daily lives of our staff as well as children and families. Provide high-quality personal assistant and secretarial support to the Associate Director of Operations for Community Mental Health Services, the Head of Nursing, and the Head of Psychology. Manage a varied workload independently, using initiative and informed judgement to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills to coordinate activities, handle correspondence, and maintain schedules. Prioritise and manage multiple demands effectively in a fast-paced environment. This includes an Associate Director of Operations for Children's Services, Head of Nursing and Head of Psychology Professions. We are looking for someone who is a friendly, organised, self-starter who can be flexible and assertive when needed. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills. You will be able to: o use your initiative o make informed judgements o multi-task and prioritise competing demands. The role is a varied one. Ideally you will be based in Bodmin for part of the week but we can be flexible regarding workbase. We're an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver community and hospital-based care to improve people's physical and mental health. We also provide specialist support to people with dementia or a learning disability. We are a people organisation and people matter to us. As part of the team, you'll help support the health and wellbeing of the people who live and visit this beautiful part of the UK. Over 4,000 people make up the Trust. This includes doctors, nurses, therapists, plus admin and support staff. We work in people's homes, in community clinics and bases. Some staff work from one of our 13 community hospitals. Our aspiration is to have great people, provide great care, be a great place to work and a great partner. Approximately 568,000 people live here. A third of people who live in Cornwall are supported by acute hospital services in Devon. As a result, we also work closely with our partners in Devon.
