Overview The role is for a registered nurse on Fletcher ward, an 18‑bed acute mental health ward located in Bodmin. The ward provides a safe environment for assessment and treatment of service users aged 18 and over with a mental health condition. Responsibilities Provide a holistic approach to recovery and rehabilitation within a safe environment. Administer person‑centred care for patients experiencing acute distress or deterioration. Support patients with risks of self‑harm, self‑neglect or harm to others, including those admitted under a section of the Mental Health Act. Work within a multidisciplinary team consisting of registered nurses, consultant psychiatrists, health care assistants, occupational therapists, activity co‑coordinators, admin staff and a psychologist. Offer positive risk taking to enable clients to move forward and promote recovery. Promote patient involvement in care and treatment plans. Working Hours Shifts will include day, night and twilight hours. Training and Development Career conversations and individual development plans for succession planning and talent management.
