About The Role We're looking for a strategic, data‑driven Commercial Partnerships Associate to join the Growth team. Focused on our Personal Loans and Credit Card businesses, you’ll manage and optimise commercial partner relationships with price comparison websites and whitelabel partners, driving growth by maximising partner performance. You’ll have significant autonomy and ownership to manage day‑to‑day commercial and product initiatives as well as partner relationships, collaborating with Product, Data, and Credit teams. Team Objectives Responsible for growth of all lending products, delivering projects via our price comparison site partnerships or directly into the market. Answer key questions: Where are new customers? What can be improved with current channels? What are competitors doing on marketplaces? Am I risking negative selection? What next innovations to develop? Key Responsibilities Manage comparison site partner onboarding, analysis and improvement, optimising for volume, cost and credit quality. Maintain partner relationships across strategic and day‑to‑day activity to sustainably grow lending volumes. Prepare analytical insights to aid partnership decisions. Combine quantitative and qualitative judgements to prioritise growth levers. Negotiate customer acquisition costs and commissions with key partners, identifying cost optimisation areas. Progress to own strategy and execution of partner projects, marketing efforts, or product enhancements that deliver growth. Qualifications 2‑3+ years’ experience in a commercial, consultancy, partnerships, business development, or account management role; ideally within financial services or a high‑growth tech environment. Demonstrated success in managing, growing, and optimising commercial relationships, including contract negotiation and achieving tangible business results; experience building/ managing a side‑business is a bonus. Highly numerate and analytical – proficient in data, Excel, commercial modelling; SQL or similar tools a plus. Strong communicator able to represent Lendable externally and build trusted relationships internally and externally. Outcome‑driven and proactive: skilled at prioritising, independently driving projects, and managing work to deliver high‑value results. Comfortable contributing to a collaborative team while thriving in a role where performance and impact are directly visible. Success Metrics After 6 Months Formed strong working relationships with all key partners, engaging daily. Identified 2‑3 actionable ideas for product, funnel conversion quality or cost improvement. Ownership of customer acquisition funnel at the partner level, identifying changes in funnel dynamics. Assess new partnership opportunities and act on high‑value ones. First‑line ownership of due diligence checks and ongoing compliance monitoring of partners.
