Technology Operations Team Leader

Vitality is seeking an experienced Technology Operations Team Leader to join its Bournemouth office as a full‑time, office‑based role with flexible working options. Role Overview Team – Technology Enablement Working Pattern – Office based role in the Vitality Bournemouth Office, full time, 35 hours per week. Strong background in Microsoft technologies, Active Directory, networking, and storage concepts. Skilled at translating technical concepts into business‑friendly language. Key Responsibilities Reliably contribute as a player/manager role within the function with a collaboration and contribution attitude. Lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve individual and team objectives. Build, monitor and manage technology operations performance against SLAs, KPIs, objectives and strategy. Promote a culture of accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards and security protocols. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support wider business initiatives. Identify and implement opportunities to streamline support processes and enhance service delivery. Influence change across people, processes and technology to improve the way IT services are delivered and experienced. Remain flexible in adapting ways we modernise our service. Qualifications & Experience Proven experience working within a professional and busy technology environment. A keen aspiration to develop leadership skills. Confidence to converse and support across the organisation as well as to the Exec level. Excellent customer service and communication skills; excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills; ability to prioritise and use initiative. A strong team player with a focus on the end customer. An understanding of requirements to effectively account and manage IT assets. Exposure to Domain and Active Directory environments. Good experience working with Microsoft technologies at a technical level. Understanding of Network and Storage concepts. Experience and understanding of working with SLAs.
