Team – Technology Enablement

Working Pattern - Office based role in the Vitality Bournemouth Office. Full time, 35 hours per week.

  • Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies and Active Directory, with a willingness to learn more.
  • Good understanding of networking and storage concepts.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical issues in a clear, user-friendly way.

What this role is all about:



As one of our Technology Operations Team Leaders, you'll play a key role in supporting and guiding our desktop support team while continuing to develop your own technical and leadership skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their career, combining hands-on technical work with the chance to lead and mentor others. You'll receive plenty of support to grow into the role while helping us deliver reliable, customer-focused IT services.
 

Key Actions

  • Act as a hands-on team lead, supporting day-to-day technical tasks while helping the team stay on track.
  • Motivate and guide team members to achieve their goals and deliver excellent service.
  • Help monitor and improve performance against SLAs and KPIs.
  • Promote a positive, customer-focused culture within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and security standards.
  • Work with other teams to support wider business initiatives.
  • Suggest improvements to processes and service delivery.
  • Be adaptable as we modernise and improve our IT services.

What do you need to thrive?

  • Experience working in a busy IT support or technology environment.
  • A strong desire to develop leadership skills and take on more responsibility.
  • Confidence to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills.
  • Exposure to Active Directory and domain environments.
  • Good technical experience with Microsoft technologies.
  • Basic understanding of networking and storage concepts.
  • Familiarity with working to SLAs and delivering quality service.
  • Logical approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new solutions.
