What this role is all about:


As our Technology Operations Team Leader, you'll guide a talented team of technical experts ensuring smooth, reliable IT services across the organisation. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity where you'll shape team culture, drive operational excellence, and champion continuous improvement, all while developing your own leadership capabilities with strong support for growth. 
 

Key Actions

  • Reliably contribute as a player/manager role within the function with a collaboration and contribution attitude
  • Lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve individual and team objectives.
  • Build, monitor and manage technology operations performance against SLAs, KPIs, objectives and strategy.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and security protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support wider business initiatives.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline support processes and enhance service delivery.
  • Influence change across people, processes, and technology to improve the way IT services are delivered and experienced.
  • Remain flexible in the adapting ways we modernise our service

What do you need to thrive?

  • Proven experience working within a professional and busy technology environment.
  • A keen aspiration to develop leadership skills
  • Confidence to converse and support across the organisation as well as to the Exec level.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills; Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; Ability to prioritise and use initiative
  • A strong team player with a focus on the end customer
  • An understanding or requirements to effectively account and manage IT assets
  • Exposure to Domain and Active directory environments
  • Good experience working with Microsoft technologies at a technical level
  • Understanding Network and Storage concepts.
  • Experience and understanding of working with SLA's
  • Ability to logically troubleshoot and diagnose problems as well as propose new solutions.
