OverviewTeam Manager - Trafford South Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). A fantastic opportunity to become Team Manager of the South Trafford CMHT. Trafford CMHT is an integrated team offering effective, person-centred care daily. The role provides leadership to a dynamic team delivering care and support for adults of working age. You will provide strategic oversight, management supervision, and clinical support to the wider integrated team. This is a senior leadership role within the mental health pathway, with a focus on integration with inpatient, urgent care, Local Authority, acute services, and the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector. Main duties of the job Be responsible for the day-to-day operational management, leadership and development of a multi-disciplinary CMHT for working-age adults. The team is integrated, flexible, user-focused and recovery-orientated to deliver a safe, effective, high-quality service. Participate as a member of the Community Services Management Team in the overall management of community-based secondary mental health services. Participate in the service bronze on-site/on-call rota as required. Significant post-qualifying clinical experience in mental health. Management and supervision of staff; strong leadership skills and the ability to lead a team. Effective teamwork within a multi-agency framework. Desirable Leadership/management training AMHP qualification Knowledge Essential: knowledge of CMHT model, mental illness development and relapse prevention, suicide prevention and risk management, Care Act, Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act. Desirable Knowledge of service monitoring/evaluation and change management. Skills and Abilities Effective leadership and management styles; ability to communicate in diverse settings and build strong relationships. Line management and clinical supervision skills; ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Other Commitment to effective teamwork and service development. Flexible approach and creative thinking.
