Field Manager at Lanes Group We are looking for a capable Field Manager to lead a team of multi‑skilled waste network service engineers in delivering both reactive and scheduled work around the clock in a dynamic environment. This role supports our commitment to health, safety, operational excellence and a culture of continuous improvement. Position Details Position: Field Manager Location: Camberley Treatment Works, Camberley, Surrey Job Type: Permanent, Full‑time Hours: Monday‑Friday, 40 hours + on‑call rota (start times to be discussed) Salary: £34,000 – £38,000 per annum, depending on experience Benefits: 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays), health cash plan, free on‑site parking, auto enrolment pension scheme, friendly working environment STRICTLY NO AGENCIES PLEASE Key Responsibilities Carry out site inspections Coordinate field engineers Manage fleet issues Evaluate employee performance Liaise with office planners / team leaders Conduct one‑to‑one meetings Track vehicle utilisation Ensure resource availability Assist the client with high‑profile jobs Monitor engineers’ performances Handle HR disciplinary processes, interviews and pathway reviews Support the wellbeing of field staff Adhere to Lanes Group policies and responsibilities Perform other reasonable ad‑hoc duties as requested by senior leadership About You Hard‑working, respectful, and compliant with health and safety standards Previous management and leadership experience is essential Full UK driver’s licence Knowledge of the utilities sector, especially drainage and wastewater, is an advantage Ability to prioritise, multitask and build working relationships Your Contribution To The Company Strive to be always positive and constructive Adhere to all company policies Communicate openly and deliver on commitments Suggest ideas that improve productivity or systems Support the company values in a spirit of "Stronger Together" At Lanes Group, we are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered.
