Are you a numbers-driven professional ready to turn insight into impact? We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an Assistant Management Accountant. This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis across a 4.5 working day week. This role involves providing all necessary financial support to ensure compliance with all monthly reporting requirements. The role will involve: Providing accounting assistance and support to ensure compliance with accounting standards and Group accounting policies to meet internal reporting needs in a fully compliant manner Ownership of the GRNI Reporting Financial Accounting and ownership of Fixed Asset (Capex) Process Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts for STI Limited, taking the lead for the sales reconciliation and headcount reporting Overhead analysis and review for all sites Full control of the general ledger transactional (GL Trans) data, ensuring full transparency of entries for month end analysis Carrying out monthly balance sheet reconciliations Assisting in the preparation of forecasts, annual budgets, strategic plans, UK statutory accounts and working files for annual audits Improve and streamline existing processes such as the posting to non-specific GL accounts i.e. Sundries, Repairs & Renewals Assisting with ad-hoc projects Deputising, on occasion, for the Management Accountant or General Ledger Administrator Experience of working within a manufacturing business would be advantageous but not essential. You will, however, need excellent Microsoft Office skills, using mainly Excel and Word, a hands‑on approach to detailed reconciliation work and month‑end processes, and excellent attention to detail.
