You will also lead our convenience strategy across One Stop (part of the Tesco Group) and SPAR. Main Responsibilities Deliver the Waitrose, One Stop & Spar commercial budget within channel strategy to fast‑track the WG&S business and achieve sales, contribution and share growth in line with 5‑year plans and budget ambitions. Create the convenience strategy for Retail and work alongside the RTM team to ensure synergy across the WG&S UK business. Ensure all trade investments are supported with clear objectives and conditions, enabling measurement and evaluation of ROI. Own JBPs and Customer Account Plans that document agreements and track performance. Manage customer compliance to agreements through regular reviews and interventions. Deliver targeted Cost Price Increases (CPIs) via Net Revenue Management when appropriate. Deliver brand MES standards in Waitrose, supported by the virtual team. Implement rigorous operational standards and controls on forecasting and company spend to meet budgeted targets. Develop and sustain customer engagement with trade partners and key contacts. Act as a proactive member of the channel team, driving values on engagement, performance and development. Our Ideal Candidate Extensive knowledge of the UK Drinks Market with at least 5 years across key trade channels, preferably Grocery. Experience with IFS10, Hyperion and SmartView. Sales professional with strong commercial experience and proven JBP negotiation success. Commercially focused with analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and optimise opportunities. Strong negotiation track record delivering CPIs and landing NPD within your customer base. Excellent interpersonal skills with high impact and influence to lead a virtual team. Effective budget management skills with high execution standards and attention to detail. Adaptability to manage a demanding workload across a wide portfolio of accounts. Creative, entrepreneurial spirit to effect positive change.
