LOCATION: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset
SALARY: Up to £30, PA
HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8am till 5pm (hybrid working available)

We are seeking a methodical and well-organised Onboarding Coordinator to join a friendly and down to earth team who are very proud to be working as part of the Hinkley Point C project. This is a full-time role, initially temporary with the view to become permanent for the right candidate therefore you must be available immediately or on a very short notice period. This role is based on-site at Hinkley Point C therefore you must live locally to Bridgwater, Somerset.
As an Onboarding Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating every stage of onboarding the new employees/staff transfers into the organisation who are working on the project, being responsible for ensuring all new hires meet the necessary security and compliance standards before starting work.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the end-to-end BPSS vetting process, including collecting, verifying, and submitting required documentation.
- Liaise with employees, HR, and external agencies to ensure timely completion of vetting.
- Maintain accurate records and track vetting progress to ensure compliance with nuclear site regulations.
- Provide support to employees throughout the onboarding process, addressing any queries or concerns related to vetting.
- Ensure all data is handled in accordance with GDPR and security guidelines.
KEY SKILLS:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work without constant supervision.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Prioritisation and organisation skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Good knowledge of operating IT systems i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Sharepoint.
