CAMHS Nursing Executive is searching for a dedicated Matron to join our Directorate Leadership team and be at the heart of our children and adolescent mental health services. You will be responsible for the delivery of high quality, evidence based, compassionate, person centred care. Where you will be responsible for clinical and professional leadership to nursing/non nursing staff at all levels within their clinical area of responsibility. The modern matron will be an integral part of the Nursing, Quality and Assurance Team. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication, motivational and influencing skills being able to influence and encourage teams to work across organisational boundaries whilst holding patient care at the heart of their work. Main duties of the job What you’ll bring: A Mental Nurse or RN (Mental Health) Degree or Equivalent professional qualification and experience in mental health care. Person specification Qualifications Registered Mental Nurse Leadership course at level 5 or above Experience Relevant clinical and operational experience in inpatient Mental health services. Experience at a senior management/Clinical level, collaborating and working to improve service delivery. Experience of managing budgets and finances at a service level. Experience in completing audits and preparing reports/action plans Experience of contributing at conferences and publications.
