Job Title: Site Engineers - Major Highway ProjectLocation: Gloucester, UKRate: £430 - £450 per day (Inside IR35)Duration: 9-12 MonthsStart Date: ImmediateContract Type: FreelanceProject Overview:We are urgently seeking multiple experienced Site Engineers for a major highways infrastructure project based in Gloucester. This is a high-profile contract involving extensive earthworks and drainage, offering the chance to work on a nationally significant scheme.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and manage on-site engineering tasks related to earthworks and drainage packagesInterpret and implement construction drawings and specificationsConduct setting out duties using modern surveying equipment (e.g., GPS, Total Station)Ensure works are completed in compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standardsCoordinate with subcontractors, supervisors, and the client's engineering teamMaintain up-to-date site records, including as-builts and quality assurance documentationRequirements:Proven experience as a Site Engineer on major infrastructure/highways projects (ideally including HS2, Smart Motorways, or similar scale)Strong background in earthworks and drainageRelevant engineering qualifications (HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent)Valid CSCS card and other relevant site certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CAT & Genny, First Aid desirable)Proficient with AutoCAD and modern surveying instrumentsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAble to start immediatelyAdditional Information:This role is inside IR35 - engagement through an umbrella company is requiredLong-term freelance opportunity with the potential to move across packages or regions upon project phasesTo Apply:If you meet the above criteria and are ready to join a major engineering team delivering key national infrastructure, please send your CV and certifications as soon as possibleJob InfoJob Title:Company:Highfield Professional Solutions LtdLocation:Posted:Jul 22nd 2025Closes:Aug 22nd 2025Sector:Contract:ContractHours:Full TimeWelcome to Fresh Jobs the place to find the freshest job vacancies and career advice. #J-18808-Ljbffr
