Joining the team means becoming part of a mission‑guided organisation striving for excellence in child care. Role Description This is a full‑time role for a Responsible Individual / Area Manager. The role is based in Durham, covering the north east and Cumbria. Responsibilities include managing registered managers, overseeing the quality of care provided to children, reviewing and implementing policies to comply with regulatory standards, and contributing to continuous improvements. The individual will manage teams, support staff development, implement processes and systems, and actively work to ensure optimal outcomes for children. Regular communication with stakeholders and ensuring all operations align with the company’s standards of excellence will also be a key part of the role. Qualifications Experience and knowledge of the role of the responsible individual with a solid background history of experience. Strong leadership, management, and team development skills Knowledge of Children Home Regulations 2015, Ofsted guidelines, Ofsted insoections, regustering childrens homes and other applicable care standards Ability to assess, review, and implement policies and procedures effectively Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills Experienced in childrens residential care, Ofsted knowledge and experience, or related fields is highly desirable Ability to work in a fast‑paced, supervised, and collaborative setting A relevant qualification in social care, child development, or management is preferred Commitment to the well‑being and development of children and young people Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Management and Manufacturing Industries Hospitals and Health Care #J-18808-Ljbffr
