About the roleWe seek a calm, organised Senior Assistant Teacher to support small KS3–KS4 classes in a specialist setting (ASC / SEMH / SLCN). You’ll lead in‑class support, run small‑group interventions, and coach TAs to deliver consistent routines and progress.You willAdapt learning (model → guided → independent) with visuals and clear routinesSupport behaviour through regulation‑first, de‑escalation and restorative follow‑upTrack small‑step progress; keep accurate behaviour / safeguarding notesLiaise with teachers / therapists / families; help onboard and mentor TAsYou bringStrong experience in specialist or inclusive settings (ASC / SEMH / SLCN)Confident, policy‑aligned behaviour practice and clear communicationDesirable: Level 3 TA (or equivalent), Team‑Teach / PRICE, First AidRight to work in the UK; Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain)SafeguardingWe are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
