Supplier Quality Engineer – Ultra MaritimeJoin to apply for the Supplier Quality Engineer role at Ultra Maritime.Essential duties and responsibilities:Non-Conformance Process Support and ManagementLiaison between Engineering, Manufacturing and Procurement for material issuesSupplier Audits and Action VerificationSupplier Continuous ImprovementAssist in First Article/First Piece Inspection and Physical Configuration Audits at either UM or the SupplierCoach Suppliers on PFMEA and Control Plan activityCoordinate all efforts for Non-conforming material, obtaining inputs from design, manufacturing and supply chain managementReview data from the incoming receiving department and address issues or adjust the inspection system accordingly for their commodity areaSupport the ISO 9001:2015 approved Supplier Quality system and support audits as requiredProvide support for customer visits and/or DCMA visits related to partsInvestigate and address customer complaints regarding part qualityEvaluate new suppliers and manage risks associated with supplier selectionAssist the Supplier Quality Director with supplier approvals and scope updates, in coordination with Supply Chain ManagementAdhere to health and safety policies and wear required PPEPerform other duties as requiredOther qualifications and capabilities:Excellent root cause analysis skills with the ability to lead data-driven improvementWillingness to travel up to 50%Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), ERP systems, Minitab and other QA toolsProficient in GD&T and basic metrology equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)Experience with electronic components, PCBAs, and/or batteries is preferredBenefits available:Optional 9-day fortnightTime Off In Lieu (TOIL)Flexible working hoursFriday finish 1pmAnnual bonusHybrid working for certain rolesCasual dress25 days holiday; Christmas shutdown; option to buy or sell holidayPrivate health care, dental, critical illness via salary sacrificeReward hub – discounts at over 200 stores4x annual salary life coverPension from 5% employer / 4% employeeOther information:Relocation support is considered on a case-by-case basis per role and subject to HMRC guidelines.
