OverviewVersion 1 is recruiting for a Senior Azure Consultant to join our Digital, Data and Cloud Practice. If you want to be involved in delivering value, innovation, and excellence with our customers, we would love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesWork with customers and Version 1 colleagues delivering high quality solutions on Microsoft AzureEngage with customers to understand requirements and identify solutions and opportunitiesUse DevOps processes and tooling for the delivery of IaaS and PaaS services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Produce and contribute to high quality documentationAll of this will be done with the support and collaboration of our Cloud Engineering Team – and contribute to technical decisions and team development initiatives in a collaborative environmentQualifications / What will make you succeedExperience with the delivery of Azure technologies and solutions that are highly available, high performing, and secureExtensive hands-on experience with at least two of the following: Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD); Citrix (including Citrix Cloud); VMware Horizon; Remote Desktop Services (RDS)Detailed understanding of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions for the delivery of desktops and applications to end usersIn-depth knowledge of End User Computing concepts and solutions that affect the delivery of VDI solutions such as identity, security, profile management, printing, image and application management, and policiesExperience working with Cloud native solutions and servicesExperience using DevOps and IaC toolingExperience with identity and security services and solutionsBe passionate about continual learning and development to keep track of emerging technologyBe able to contribute to technical designs, identify issues, and communicate to both technical and non-technical audiencesHave good commercial awareness and be able to articulate the commercial impacts of technical challenges and opportunitiesAdditional InformationFlexible/remote working, Version 1 is understanding of life events and offers flexibility to achieve a healthy work life balanceEducational assistance and accreditations, including AWS, Microsoft, Oracle, and Red HatReward schemes and recognition programsComprehensive benefits including Pension, Private Healthcare Cover, Life Assurance, wellbeing and discount schemes, generous holiday allowance, enhanced leave policiesSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
