Jesus College is looking to fill a reconfigured 'Community Health Practitioner' post (formerly College Nurse) to be responsive to the physical health needs of students, staff and Fellows, as well as to develop community-wide initiatives to promote physical health and wellbeing. The Community Health Practitioner will report to the Senior Tutor. As a member of the College Health and Wellbeing Team, the Community Health Practitioner will work closely with the Student Wellbeing Lead and Mental Health Nurse, and support the wider College Welfare Team comprised of the Senior Tutor, Tutors and Health and Wellbeing Team. The ideal candidate will be a registered General Nurse with at least 5 years post-registration experience. This is a part-time role (30 hours average), normally full-time in Term (37.5 hours, Monday to Friday) and part-time outside Term (20 hours over 3 days). Applicants who would like to adopt a flexible working pattern will be considered, although it is expected that presence onsite is ordinarily required during Term.
