Commercial Property Legal Assistant Swansea Job Description TSR Legal are proud to be working with a leading regional law firm who are seeking a Commercial Property Legal Assistant to join their established Swansea office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous property experience (residential or commercial) who is looking to develop their legal career within a supportive, professional, and well‑respected firm. You'll play a key role in providing direct support to fee earners, ensuring the smooth running of the Commercial Property Department. What you'll be responsible for Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to solicitors and fee earners within the department. Assist with the preparation and drafting of contracts, leases, transfers, and other property documents. Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence with clients, agents, and third parties. Handle Land Registry applications, SDLT forms, and related post‑completion matters. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date case files, ensuring all documentation is filed correctly. Conduct searches, review title documentation, and support with due diligence processes. Schedule and prepare for client meetings, including document collation and file management. Support fee earners with billing, diary management, and file opening/closing procedures. Deliver excellent client service and uphold confidentiality at all times. What we're looking for: Essential Skills & Experience Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal within a Property team (residential or commercial). Strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail. Confident in using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems. Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines. Professional and confident communicator with clients and colleagues. A team player with a proactive, can‑do attitude. Desirable Experience working in Commercial Property specifically. Knowledge of Land Registry and SDLT processes. What you'll receive Competitive salary up to £26,000 (depending on experience).
