About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide direct classroom support, reinforce routines, and apply a confident, no‑nonsense approach to help pupils stay focused and engaged. You'll support learning, reinforce behaviour expectations, and help drive consistency across the school day. Key Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant: Classroom Support: Provide firm, steady support during lessons to keep pupils focused and on task. Behaviour Reinforcement: Apply consistent boundaries, structure, and expectations. Learning Assistance: Support pupils with work set by the teacher and reinforce key learning points. Routine Leadership: Maintain clear daily routines and transitions across the school day. Progress Monitoring: Track pupil engagement and report directly to teaching staff. Team Collaboration: Work closely with teachers and support staff to maintain consistent standards. To succeed as a Teaching Assistant, you will need: Experience in schools, SEN, sports, alternative provision, or structured youth settings. A strong presence with calm, controlled, and confident communication. The ability to manage challenging behaviour with authority and consistency. Quick decision‑making and practical problem‑solving under pressure. An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through us.
