As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be an essential part of our team, working closely with teachers and other staff to support students' individual learning and development needs. Job Description: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN) Assisting teachers in creating and implementing personalized learning plans tailored to each student’s specific needs Helping to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate Using various strategies and interventions to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development Assisting with classroom management and organization to ensure a smooth and productive learning experience for all students Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to teachers, parents, and other stakeholders Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEN support Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, particularly with a focus on SEN (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in an educational setting Strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support students with diverse needs Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with SEN Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently, with a proactive and positive attitude Benefits: Competitive salary package Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunities for professional development and career advancement Access to resources and facilities to support effective SEN teaching and learning Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with special educational needs Join Us: Join us in our mission to empower students with SEN and create a nurturing environment where every child can succeed.
