Continuous training to develop yourself personally and professionally The Role As the Senior Events Manager, you will be responsible for the management of private event bookings from start to finish. Working with our members and guests from their initial enquiry, you will discuss all elements of their event, assist them with planning and contracts, and finalise all details for the operational teams. You will coordinate with operational colleagues within the House to ensure events are set up and managed properly, delivering a high‑quality experience that meets client expectations. You will report to the site UK Head of Events & Sales and the site General Manager. Main Duties Manage every booking from start to handing over to the operational team on the day. Be the point of contact for all enquiries received via telephone, e‑mail and the CRM system. Plan and coordinate all event details by liaising with the host on needs and requirements. Coordinate logistics of each event, including times, equipment needs and liaising directly with the lead booker. Collate function sheets using the event booking system (Tripleseat) and distribute to relevant operational teams. Work closely within the Event operational team to create successful events while meeting the event budget. Collaborate with the UK Event Management team to attend training, share knowledge and maintain consistent processes across UK sites. Provide weekly reports to the UK Head of Events & Sales. Assist with daily admin tasks assigned by the events team: send daily function sheets, weekly event function packs, update function sheets and boards. Present event details to Heads of Department in weekly events meetings and daily morning briefs. Track daily/monthly/yearly event targets to understand the financial impact on the House. Engage with all UK Soho Houses that book events to cross‑sell spaces and work towards an overall UK budget. Assist with front‑of‑house operational tasks such as room drops, express check‑ins and hosting. What We Are Looking For Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the event industry, ideally in hospitality. Experience coordinating and managing events for up to 200 guests. Experience using an event booking system, preferably Tripleseat.
