We work closely with individuals and their families in the planning and development of support tailored for each individual.If you are successful with your application, you will have the full support, dedication, and guidance of a senior health care staff and access to a wide range of benefits, which include: Free training; Free DBS; ; Flexible working options Full holiday entitlement and pension.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.Main duties of the jobThe purpose of this role is to provide specialist nursing care, advice, guidance and leadership.Assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidenced-based nursing care.Provide specialist advice and excellent clinical practice.Work autonomously and manage own workload as a lead specialist in their areaProvide specialist education and training to StaffWork collaboratively and co-operatively with clinical colleaguesDemonstrate the Health Board's values and ensure that others demonstrate the same values.All ECRS will have Job Plans. In general, an average week will have 8.5 sessions for clinical activity and 1.5 sessions for SPA but this will be determined on an individual basis and reviewed annually (NIPEC 2012).Clinical Activity - eg. Clinics; ward-based work; telephone consultations etcSupporting Professional Activity Supporting Professional Activity (SPA) - eg.
