Job Overview The Enhanced Community Residential Service provides high‑quality support for individuals with autism, learning disability and physical disability in supportive living. We work closely with individuals and their families in the planning and development of support tailored for each individual. Speaking Welsh is desirable but English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome. Main Duties of the Job The purpose of this role is to provide specialist nursing care, advice, guidance and leadership. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence‑based nursing care. Provide specialist advice and excellent clinical practice. Work autonomously and manage own workload as a lead specialist in the area. Provide specialist education and training to staff. Work collaboratively and cooperatively with clinical colleagues. Demonstrate the Health Board’s values and ensure others do the same. All ECRS will have Job Plans; an average week will include about 8.5 sessions of clinical activity and 1.5 sessions of Supporting Professional Activity, reviewed annually. Person specification Registered Nurse (Part 1) Essential Criteria Professional Registration. Specialist postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s Degree. Desirable Criteria Teaching qualification (or equivalent experience). Non‑medical prescribing (v300). Advanced clinical skills.
