Roles We’re hiring makers and cutters of all levels to join the soft costume team at FBFX in Feltham, West London. Positions are available at senior and mid level for freelance and daily work. We’re looking for a varied mix of skills to complement our existing team and can offer training in specialist areas. Qualifications Experience on production not necessary but sewing workroom experience required. Costume daily positions. We are looking for intermediate to senior costume makers and pattern cutters on a freelance basis with a strong experience in sewing. The ideal candidates will have proven experience in working with various materials and techniques. Previous experience on Film/TV production is not necessary but prior involvement with a workroom/factory focused on garment construction is essential. Responsibilities Operating Industrial sewing machines Working with Stretch fabric Cutting and glueing materials Hand sewing and handling heavy fabrics Creating and assembling costume props Special FX costume Dyeing fabrics Technical stretch construction Selecting and purchasing materials Compensation Salary on application. #J-18808-Ljbffr
