You’ll be employed by HomeCareDirect but will focus solely on supporting this client. This role requires you to live‑in at our client’s home from Monday to Monday, 1 week in 4 on a rolling rota. Day hours are 8am to 11pm and are paid at £14.40 per hour. Night hours are paid at £12.21 per hour. About the Client & Your Responsibilities Our client is a friendly, easy‑going and open‑minded person. She has various interests such as psychology/history/true crime/alternative news. Having ADHD, she really enjoys learning new things and spending time watching films, series and documentaries. To live independently on a daily basis, our client would need support with personal care such as bowel care, washing and dressing, moving and handling, medication administering, light housework, cooking and feeding. She also has a dog who will need a short walk a couple of times a day. You must be comfortable with dogs and working in a smoking environment (this will be risk assessed and discussed at interviews). You must be able to work 1 week in 4 on a rolling rota. Training & Support We provide comprehensive, paid training (to CQC standards) before your start date, covering: Full induction Safeguarding Adults First Aid / Food Hygiene / Health & Safety Personal Care / Catheter Care / Suppositories / Bowel Care Administration of Medication / Moving & Handling with Hoist Autonomic Dysreflexia / Spinal Injury / Mental Health / ADHD All training must be completed prior to start date and is paid at normal pay rate.
