Youll be employed by HomeCareDirect but will focus solely on supporting this client. This role requires you to live-in at our clients home from Monday to Monday 1 week in 4 on a rolling rota. Day hours are 8am to 11pm and are paid at 14.40 per hour. Night hours are paid at 12.21 per hour. About the Client & Your ResponsibilitiesOur client is a friendly easy-going and open-minded person. She has various interests such as psychology/history/true crime/alternative news. Having ADHD she really enjoy learning new things and spending time watching films series and documentaries. To live independently on a daily basis our client would need support with personal care such as bowel care washing and dressing moving and handling medication administering light housework cooking and feeding. She also has a dog who will need a short walk a couple of times a day. You must be comfortable with dogs and working in a smoking environment (this will be risk assessed and discussed at interviews). You must be able to work 1 week in 4 on a rolling rota.RequirementsTraining & SupportWe provide comprehensive paid training (to CQC standards) before your start date covering: Full induction Safeguarding Adults First Aid / Food Hygiene / Health & Safety Personal Care / Catheter Care / Suppositories / Bowel Care Administration of Medication / Moving & Handling with Hoist Autonomic Dysreflexia / Spinal Injury / Mental Health / ADHDAll training must be completed prior to start date and is paid at normal pay rate.
