Stakeholder Engagement Manager (12 Months FTC) Join us at COWI. This role will work on the Lower Thames Crossing, leading stakeholder communications for one of the UK’s most important infrastructure projects. You will help grow our business, lead on bids and project delivery, and work closely with senior leaders and clients. Key Responsibilities Support existing projects and secure new work within COWI UK’s External Affairs and Consents practice. Collaborate with clients to develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies and plans. Lead engagement with a broad range of political, local authority, business and community stakeholders. Develop bid and fee proposals to support win activities. Work with Sector Leads, Heads of Discipline, and the BD team to integrate business‑development activities. Support capture and bid processes for major and regional opportunities with technical staff and Bid Support Team. Contribute to strategies and action plans for business growth in specific focus areas. Identify technical development areas to maximise opportunities for growth. Implement Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) strategies as part of programme leadership. Required Skills and Experience Experience developing and implementing stakeholder engagement strategies and plans. Proven track record in business development and win activities in the stakeholder and communications sector of the built environment industry. Experience working closely with clients to anticipate, manage and meet requirements. Ability to influence key political, business, local authority and community stakeholders. Excellent client and partner relationship‑building skills and strong interpersonal skills. Effective verbal and written communication. Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
